Can you prove there is a GOD?? I can. The existence of such profound evil in the world demands the existence of GOD. Try being a Christian in many Muslim countries. It can be a death sentence. What about China? These guys are almost as bad. At least they only imprison pastors (search Pastor Wang Yi) instead of burning them alive or beheading them like the Islamists. Glad you don’t live in China as a Christian? Or a Uighur Muslim? Well, it wasn’t always that way in China. Prior to the Communist takeover of China by Mao, evangelism was alive and well in China. The Cultural revolution changed all that.

Think it can’t happen in the good ol USA. Think again. Lists are already being made to ostracize and punish supporters of President Trump for their “crimes against humanity”, translated to mean that they are not supporters of flipping the USA to socialism. That list includes many Christians, who are much more likely to be a Trump supporter than a Biden supporter, surveys reporting 80% of evangelical Christians are for Trump.
In my lifetime in the USA, I have not experienced religious persecution. Not really. Some make fun of you some are prejudiced against you, but we still experience general religious freedom. At least we have until now. Since March of 2020, the Church has been under persecution, and most have been so naive that we haven’t been aware it is happening. Many are actually meekly acceding to the persecution. What persecution are you talking about? The COVID-19 restrictions of course.
Christians in many parts of the world meet clandestinely in fear of governmental persecution. Discovery can mean harassment, arrest, imprisonment, and even torture and death. Churches are shut down. Evangelism is illegal. Here in the USA, it has generally cost us nothing to exercise our faith in God. While in some parts of the world, Churches hide by meeting secretly in houses and places where the government won’t find them. This requires boldness, courage, and commitment. Here in the USA, we hide from a virus, which may, but not likely kill you. More likely just make you sick for a few weeks. Yet with no boldness, no courage and no commitment, we willingly sequester ourselves in our homes. The government tells us it is for our own good. The news media reinforces this with a continuous flow of COVID-19 statistics and stories designed to instill fear into even the bravest of souls. So what price are you willing to pay for your faith, dear Christian? Are you afraid of death?? Are you boldly sitting at home in front of the TV or computer watching some YouTube or Facebook live stream of services? A local congregation which had just recently began to hold live services (wear masks and socially distance) shut down live in person services because somebody had been to a Thanksgiving family event and been exposed to COVID-19. Shut it down. And I suppose many think that is a good idea. Maybe the exposed person could have just stayed home?? Or I thought masks and social distancing were supposed to protect you??? Guess you can’t be too safe. Odd how in Japan there are more suicides than COVID-19 deaths. It is difficult to get current data for the United States, but estimates from the CDC seem to indicate there will be more deaths in the US from suicide and drug overdoses than COVID-19 deaths. How many of these unfortunate deaths may have been preventable had there been an active and vibrant church open to receive and assist these folks before their untimely and preventable deaths. We will never know
Revelation 21:8 tells us that the cowardly will end up burning in the lake of fire for eternity. Does that shoe fit you? Cowardly is listed first, in the list of some other unsavory sinful characteristics. That’s so you don’t miss it. Live in a state where the oppressive government tells you to stay home for your own good? Make some noise. California allows strip clubs to operate but not churches, and the Governor has a “non-socially distanced” party for a crowd which included some “medical experts”.
You thought persecution was bad in places like China. And then it got worse. Think it can’t happen here in the good ol’ USA? How many Jews (and Christians) in 1932 in Germany were expecting what would happen to them over the course of just the next 10 years? Are you ready for that? And Hitler didn’t round up 6 million Jews all at one time. He killed them in small numbers, one group at a time. He instilled hatred into the neighbors of the Jews. And that’s how they’ll do it here too. The government will convince the general population that these Christian Trump supporters are domestic terrorists. Then they will imprison them to “re-educate” them. They can probably house maybe a million or so in “re-education camps” with the ability to feed and house them. Larger numbers will either have to be killed, or will die of exposure or starvation. You can depend on CNN to never report this. Think it can’t or won’t happen here? Ever heard of Indian Reservations? Any idea how many native Americans were killed because they were “savages?” Ever heard of the “Trail of Tears”?
Never Again, is a mantra in some Jewish circles, referring to the Holocaust. Well, folks, they may not be coming for the Jews this time, but there are frightening similarities happening here in the good ol’ USA. A Jewish gangster once asked the question of how different things might have been if each Jew took out one Nazi on the way to the gas chamber? If they are going to kill you anyway, maybe it would help, he theorized. Hmmmmmmmm………… Something like 7 million new gun owners in the USA? Oh and Joe Biden wants to take them all away from them. Are you dependent on social media live streaming for your spiritual worship services? Seems convenient, doesn’t it. Stay in your pajamas grab a cup of coffee and relax in your sofa while watching your worship service. But are you participating? Do you sing? Are you multi-tasking and doing the laundry or dishes or other household chores? Have you ever had technology interrupt or fail you in trying to watch? I experienced that several times, although I have long ago resumed attending live services (I live in a place where socialist dictator governments have not locked church members in their closets). Our local congregation had Facebook terminate its streaming mid-message as the Rabbi was reviewing the book of Genesis account of Noah being found naked in his tent. Discussing nakedness violated community standards and the streaming was terminated. So it demonstrates to me that “somebody” is listening. Couple this with the recent trend to cancel or at least stifle conservative participation in social media sites. What happens when a pastor or rabbi might dare to speak against the government or even something Biblical like homosexuality? Think it won’t be long until that streaming is terminated too? What then happens to the church, congregation, or individuals who have become comfortable with their streaming spiritual experience? I’m waiting for somebody to read this and cancel me from this site. Fortunately, I’m still quite invisible here, with only occasional visits, probably mostly by accidently finding this site while looking for something else. Most of those visits are from China, where I think they have government monitors to see what we’re saying in the USA about China.
Have I mentioned the theory that a Chinese-Muslim coalition mounts an assault on Israel? I may devote a separate page for that theory sometime in the future. That along with my UFO theories. Then they may just write me off as a fruitcake. But it has become so difficult to determine what is true and what is fiction. That’s why I call it a theory. But this page is too long already, so I’ll quit here.
Think this is going away any time soon? That’s what you thought in April when all you needed to do was flatten the curve. Funny how long it is taking to flatten that old curve. You prayerfully decide what you need to do; what God is telling you to do. That’s not my job. But if the watchman doesn’t sound the alarm when the enemy is advancing, the blood of the people will be on the hands of the watchman. Consider this a sounding of the alarm.
