Get annoyed by your “slow” internet? Don’t like waiting in line for anything? Love getting your dinner out of the microwave in 3 minutes? That’s our society today. Impatience is a way of life. Trouble is, ANGER is the result of things that make us wait. Had somebody who wants to drive faster than you ride up on your rear bumper? Then he gets around you and “brake checks” you? Or worse, has a serious case of road rage and forces you off the road, follows you, or maybe even shoots at you. How about waiting in line at the drive-thru at the “fast food” take-out restaurant. Then they make you pull up or pull over to wait for that one or two things in your order that aren’t quite ready. How do you feel?
Social Justice warriors lack the patience to work through the system. By and large, it isn’t about justice, its about anger and instant revenge. Black lives matter movement is not about black lives, its about instant revenge… AND changing society by violence instead of through civilized processes (read”social”?? more like anti-social). Don’t get your way? Burn it down. Oh yeah, that will really make things better. How many racists will stop being racist since you set their city on fire?
Have a problem with the supply chain? Have some “favorite” item of yours turn up unavailable or a needed part for repairs delayed? Spoiled by the rapid availability of nearly everything throughout your lifetime? Well welcome to the new world order. An appliance repairman who is experiencing long delays in obtaining repair parts shared that customers are insanely irate over the delays in getting parts for their appliances. I can’t wait for my washing machine part, I have a baby at home. Have they been living under a rock? Do they think that shutting down businesses for a year or so is going to have no impact on their lives. Microwave society impatience is resulting in anger among those who are used to having what they want and having it now.
Good cooking takes time. Good social change takes time. If all you want out of life is a microwave dinner, then have at it. You’ll get what you ask for. Trouble is, the folks who want instant results want to drag the rest of us along with them; those of us who would prefer a thoughtful deliberative process to possibly burning dinner in the microwave.
One thing that will happen in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye is the return of Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah. Another thing is the change in your life when you accept his salvation into your heart. Transformation then will be quick, but remember, as God, He has a perfect knowledge, compared to the rest of us. Does God get angry? I think He probably does. After all, we are made in His image. But He is very patient, and slow to anger, unlike Social Justice warriors. It is Satan who wanted instant results: to be like God. Last time God burned something down was at Sodom and Gomorrah. And even then He would have spared them just by finding 10 righteous people. Beware! We may be the next. Unless those impatient ANTIFA and social justice warriors burn it first.(to be continued)
